Objectives:

  • Learn how to create Min/Max rules, comment on and audit data entry in DHIS2.

Assignment overview:

To minimize data entry errors, you will practice creating Min/Max limits, commenting on data entered in a specific field, and auditing data entry.

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the 'Data Entry' app


Step 2: Select the OrgUnit from the tree on the left side of your browser window


Step 3: Double-click on the cell of the Data Element you want to edit. You will see a window like this popup.

  1. In this window you can:

    1. Leave comments about the data entered

    2. Create Min/Max limits for this data element

    3. Find what User entered or updated the values in this cell, by clicking on the 'audit trail' tab
