30. Create an Indicator Group

Objectives:

  • Learn how to create and manage Indicator Groups in DHIS2

Assignment overview:

We will be grouping all the Indicators related to the Data Elements we already created. Indicator Groups function similarly to Data Element Groups. They facilitate filtering and analyses. Indicator Group Sets contain collections of Indicator Groups. You will create and manage an indicator group in this assignment.

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the 'Maintenance' app


 

 Step 2: Click 'Indicator Group'


Step 3: Click the blue '+' at the bottom right of your screen, you will see this screen:

 

Step 4: Fill out:

  1. Name

  2. Double-click the Indicators you want to add to the Group.

NOTE: It is important to have every Indicator in at least one group

 

Step 5: Click 'Save' at the bottom of the screen to save your new Indicator Group. 

Notes:

Anything created in the Dev.logicaloutcomes instance should include your initials in the name - e.g. "[name]_NKS".
