2. Device features

2.1. Device functionality.

The device functionality can be described counting features, that must be provided by it. Here they are:

  • primary colorful 2.4'' IPS display with 320(w) to 240(h) pixels resolution to show main information, settings and GUI;
  • secondary monochrome 0.91'' OLED display with 128(w) to 32(h) pixels resolution to show user-defined information such as sports activity, radio station, music player etc., or just as a watch display; can be use like a more power efficient display;
  • audio player functionality to playback all your tracks; device includes separate Hi-Res audio DAC, Lo-Res decoder and amplifier; MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC, APE music formats support;
  • 3.5-mm Jack for wired audio playback;
  • FM-radio functionality to listen some news or other music using radio stations frequencies;
  • text and books reader functions to carry Your books always with you;
  • image viewer functionality with zooming and scrolling features; JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF image formats support;
  • sports functionality to help user count steps amount, speed and measure current heart beat rate;
  • weather functionality to help user check weather temperature, pressure, humidity with compass features;
  • NES-emulator functionality to play 8-bit games ROMs from the NES game console;
  • built-in stereo speakers to increase the audio experience;
  • Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX features to transmit audio data to Bluetooth-headphones or other wireless devices (not both at the same time with 3.5mm jack);
  • Wi-Fi features to setting up device wireless, update it’s firmware, receive weather forecasts and so on;
  • USB Type-C socket with USB device mode possibilities to settings up device, files exchanging and firmware updating;
  • SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card formats support up to 256 Gb;
  • replaceable battery module;
  • RGB LED to indicate You about some system events;
  • proximity and motion sensors for binding user-defined executions to specific gestures;
  • hardware buttons only and power switcher.

Also, device can be as a development board-device for user own projects.
