Clarification

Excepting sirens provided by other users, absolutely nothing in the mod is "copied and pasted" from anywhere as has been occasionally allegated. Everything is edited and ported, whether it be models or siren tones. Some things are easier to port than others. Despite this, because Photon is an open-source endeavor, including assets made by talented people is for the greater good of the Garry's Mod community and poses absolutely no personal benefit.

Absolutely all associated costs with Photon are paid out-of-pocket as to support community collaboration and fairly respect intellectual property and the respective copyrights of companies such as Whelen Engineering and Federal Signal. Photon's source being subject to a non-commercial agreement assures that all potential modifications also respect copyright.
