Bootplate v1.9

In this latest version of Bootplate, we've included your usual bug fixes identified over time as well as better compatibility. Perhaps the most significant fix is making the Link Post Format a lot smarter with the new bootplate_get_post_link() function.

This release also allows users to use excerpts on their pages for even greater control over how their pages look in their own SERPs (/search/) pages.

Bootplate v1.8

Along with your typical bug fixes and version bumps, this release includes two new page templates for 1/3-height and 2/3-height. The documentation has already been updated at http://bootplate.jdmdigital.co.

v1.7 Release

In this latest version of Bootplate, we've included a handful of Bug Fixes as well as made a few resource loading functions a lot smarter. Users are encouraged to upgrade automatically to this latest version using the GitHub Updater mentioned in the Getting Started documentation.

v1.6

This latest release of Bootplate includes a variety of bug fixes, updates to CSS, a new .col-xl-{x} class for super-wide screens, and adds an option in the Customizer to remove the "website" field from comments. Typically, this field is just for spammers anyway. You should have the option to remove.

Those that installed Bootplate as their parent theme using the GitHub Updater plugin will receive the automatic update to this, v1.6, within a day or so. Others will have to do it the old fashioned way. NBD.

Bootplate v1.5

Bootplate is all about being a wicked-fast WordPress theme. After a lot of review of the work by the Filament Group on their loadCSS.js project, we decided to include a few custom functions in version 1.5 that copies WordPress' CSS and JS enqueue process, but allows for heavier CSS to be loaded asynchronously (i.e. without blocking page rendering).

Bootplate v1.4

In version 1.4 we closed a whole bunch of issues and bugs as well as included a number of new features to the Customizer for even greater control before you transform Bootplate using your child theme.

v1.3 Bootplate

Version 1.3 includes a few new function additions, but mainly fixes several bugs discovered during final BETA testing.

This latest release includes a few (like 9) bug fixes discovered as we continue to use the Bootplate framework in production environments.

v1.0 Production Ready

We're out of BETA and ready for production. Actually, it's already being used in a few production environments. I guess we've been a little slow to version bump. (Check the pulse. That's kind of a joke.)
