📌 Role: Implementation Coordinator
📌 Tech Stack: Careers Services CMS, HTML, Internal Systems
- Customised a preconfigured skills development platform for alignment with The Open University’s employability framework.
- Designed and edited a dedicated landing page (including a Welsh version) for Access and Participation Plan (APP) students, improving navigation and ease of use.
- Coordinated between careers services staff, platform provider, and students, ensuring effective technical implementation and user adoption.
- Developed training resources, including videos and internal documentation, and led a presentation for ~50 career services staff; slides were later used in a briefing to university leadership.
- Refined UX content with the Quality & Development team, ensuring clear, action-driven language for better engagement.
- Conducted thorough usability testing to ensure a user-friendly experience at launch.
- Exploring JavaScript libraries such as D3.js to create interactive charts using real-world datasets.
- Experimenting with data storytelling techniques to present insights effectively.
- Repurposing an old laptop as an Ubuntu server to create a self-hosted development environment.
