I want to add a new Department:

  1. Login as an admin at www.projectcomport.org/login
  2. Go to https://www.projectcomport.org/admin/department/new
  3. Fill in the two name fields,
    1. Department Name is the long form that will appear in Page Titles and the like
    2. Department Short Name is used for urls and should be an acronym
    3. Both the Name and the Short Name must be unique
  4. Go to the admin dashboard www.projectcomport.org/admin
  5. Find the new department and click edit
  6. On the department page click Create An Extractor Account button
  7. You’ll be given the username and password that should be used when a script pushes data to the app
  8. NOTE: This is the only time this information is visible so make sure you make note of it
