You list some "software" as opposed to firmware.

newRPL is missing from the list. And it is also a complete firmware for the HP50g.

BTW, any suggestion regarding the base OS? I think HP calculators have used FreeRTOS for a while.

It won’t really have an operating system as such, but rather an interface with the hardware, with the main hardware management functions shared in a core—something similar to the DMCP from SwissMicros.
