Most ecommerce themes will have an "add to cart" button on the product archive pages which switches to "select options" button if the product has variations, might be good to have

Clarification

Out of the box WPEC will allow uses to chose between a grid and list view of the products. Are you wanting to include a list view?

No problem... I'll play around with some sort of add to cart and variation option on the product archive page.

Sure... that wasn't planned at all, but I can play around with a list view.
