D. Objectives The anticipated goal of this study is to extend MakiBIS and implement information regarding food security’s dimensions and to improve the filtering capability of taxon tree. The specific purposes of this study are the following:
- To implement the four dimensions of food security on each species profile. The information stored is the specie’s… a. Availability b. Accessibility c. Utilization d. Stability
- To implement a search field on the entirety of the system and upgrade its search functionality;
- To provide specific keywords for searching and for categorizing the taxon tree; and
- To give an expanded form of the taxon tree for more specific viewing after using the keywords suggested by the system.
