This would make it easier for Mac OS X users. We could just type brew install geeknote. Not that it's too hard to install as it is right now, but this would be nice :)

If you add a tar.gz of the entire repo, a Homebrew formula wouldn't be hard at all for this.

it seems all they need is a release
Homebrew/legacy-homebrew#14202

+1, this would help a lot. Easy for users to install but especially to upgrade (brew update && brew upgrade geeknote). All we need is a tagged release. @VitaliyRodnenko ?

Please just make a tag - even if it is labeled 'alpha' or 'beta' then once the tag/release exists then a homebrew package can be made.

+1 Please help us homebrewers out. I'll author the Homebrew Formula if you'll tag a release.

+1. Wondering if this is not happening on purpose or just due to packet loss

Why not create a formula for https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-head-only? Then you can brew install homebrew/homebrew-head-only geeknote

I have a geeknote.rb formula over in my fork, which installs from that repo.
I don't think it'll work directly with this (VitaliyRodnenko) repo without adjustment, but it might serve as a good example.

From the README.md on https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-head-only: https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-head-only:

“This tap is deprecated because unversioned formulae provide a terrible UX. You can still install formulae from it but we don’t accept new ones.”
