Brief abstract

astroplan is an astropy affiliated package for observation planning and scheduling. astroplan is for everyone – from individual observers sorting out the night ahead, to observatories scheduling a semester of queue observations. Calculate rise/set/meridian transit times, alt/az positions for targets at observatories anywhere on Earth, and observability for sets of targets given an arbitrary set of constraints (i.e., altitude, airmass, moon separation/illumination, etc.).
