This a simple demo app that illustrate file upload process with integration to Kaltura. It is based on Laravel which load this frontend and handles the business logic in the backend using a dedicated API.
-
The API accssible via
POST /api/upload
-
The API handles business logic in
app/Http/Controllers/API/UploadController.php
-
The actual integration to Kaltura happens using custom service provider in
app/Services/Kaltura/Kaltura.php
- The service provider wrap the Kaltura's client, based PHP SDK (namespaced)
- The frontend uses JQuery & Dropzone to create the upload inputs & interact with the backend API.
Laravel is a web application framework with expressive, elegant syntax. We believe development must be an enjoyable and creative experience to be truly fulfilling. Laravel takes the pain out of development by easing common tasks used in many web projects, such as:
- Simple, fast routing engine.
- Powerful dependency injection container.
- Multiple back-ends for session and cache storage.
- Expressive, intuitive database ORM.
- Database agnostic schema migrations.
- Robust background job processing.
- Real-time event broadcasting.
Laravel is accessible, powerful, and provides tools required for large, robust applications.
Laravel has the most extensive and thorough documentation and video tutorial library of all modern web application frameworks, making it a breeze to get started with the framework.
