how to disable fingerprint scroll to top

hi. first thank you for cromite!
i'm trying to find a way to disable this feature by which the browser scrolls to top with fingerprint sensor. at first i had no idea what makes the browser behave that way until i found out it was the accidental fingerprint touches.

what i've tried so far to no avail:

• looking for any related flags in chrome://flags

• adb shell pm revoke org.cromite.cromite android.permission.USE_FINGERPRINT

• adb shell appops set org.cromite.cromite android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC deny

i'd appreciate any ideas.

O, this exists? I would love to enable this feature, because it doesn't do this on my phone (Pixel 4a, LineageOS 22.1), while the above mentioned flag is enabled. What gives?

no, it is only due to a bug that I cannot reproduce.

I would like to please you, if only for reasons of accessibility, but not knowing the reason, I would not be able to force this behaviour.

Thanks. I think I read in an issue that you're working on the option of a custom toolbar shortcut that can execute a script. Something like this exists in Kiwi Browser, where I have it set to window.scrollTo({ top: 0, behavior: 'smooth' }); I'll do the same once Cromite has this feature, if possible.
