How do you update this application?

A simple yet a complex one for curious cats like me. Do you override the new version over the current one? Or make a fresh installation after uninstalling the old version?

Pardon me if my question has been answered before. I searched for multiple keywords but couldn't find any positive results.

I personally just install the new apk over. It will prompt a dialogue asking whether you'd like to update. Uninstalling is a hassle and don't you afraid to lose your bookmarks and setting?

Can you use F-droid? Cromite Repository can run on F-droid.

I see "vanilla" chromium builds build on the releases page.
Could @uazo please add them to f-droid as well as the original Cromite? Because the only Cromite can be installed via F-droid, but not the original Vanilla Chromium.

@uazo, thanks for the reply. The first reason is that I see some websites broken due to privacy-enhanced Cromite restrictions (WebRTC, third-party cookies, and others). So, I would like to install the original Chromium to use them. The second reason is that only the Cromite project provides Android Chrome builds (honestly, I looked for them but found none).
Or please let me know if the problem is on my side (I configured privacy-enhanced Cromite incorrectly, for example). In this case I will consider Cromite as the browser with privacy enhanced features that could be opt-out.
I really appreciate your work, and I hope the requested feature will not be too complicated to do.
