The big updates are some deprecations of older Kafka and Ambari stuff in preparation for the Amazing NiFi 2.0.

Atlanta put on a great show with everything Java everywhere. This event is always super well run, lots of solid Java vendors and a great setup. The Speaker Room was especially great. I highly recommend attending DevNexus. There were three Pulsar talks, a bunch of Kafka talks, Spring talks and so much more. Videos were recorded and will be released at some point. My slides are below, I cover from Pulsar to Kafka to NiFi to Spring to Flink. I was really surprised to see the updates in the Pulsar features in Spring now. It's available in start.spring.io.
