The VLB (short for Verzeichnis Lieferbarer Bücher, aka. Directory of Deliverable Books) is the central database for books being published and marketed in the German-speaking market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). For booksellers, it is the primary source of information on all titles published in the German-speaking world.

Pricing

Fees for the title registration are per title and calendar year. One to ~19 titles can be registered as part of the annual minimum fee (69,-€ / year for gold-standard metadata / 99,-€ / year for lower-quality metadata). Once the minimum fee has been reached, additional titles are charged an extra per-title fee, details at https://vlb.de/en/services/titelmeldung
