KBART
Issue 88, now continued by Issue 284
KBART is a NISO Recommended Practice. A definition of the KBART format is provided in NISO's "Knowledge Bases and Related Tools (KBART) Recommended Practice" (NISO RP-9-2014).
It is recommended that COPIM/Thoth seek KBART Endorsement with NISO, and is listed in the KBART Registry before making this feature public.
As of Sept 2024, Thoth has been listed in the KBART Registry. KBART Endorsement appears not to be awarded to metadata management platforms such as Thoth. That said, individual publishers seeking KBART endorsement will find the Thoth KBART export a useful resource.
There are no accessibility sections associated with this metadata standard.
The Thoth Wiki has been developed in the context of the COPIM (Community-led Open Publication Infrastructures for Monographs) project. Individual contributions to the wiki have been made by Tim Elfenbein, Joanne Fitzpatrick, Rupert Gatti, Ross Higman, Hannah Hillen, Brendan O'Connell, Tobias Steiner, and Vincent W.J. van Gerven Oei under the general editorship of Van Gerven Oei. All data are available under a CC-BY 4.0 license.
