<h2>Proposals <a target="_blank" href="http://www.scholarsavenue.org/news/critique-bibhu-agarwal-candidate-for-general-secretary-technology-2015-16/">[Read critique]</a></h2>
<h3>1. Felicitation Portal</h3>
<p><b>Overview : </b> I propose to organize a Felicitation Ceremony cum Interaction Session on a bi-semester
basis and introduce ‘Felicitation Portal’ in the Technology Students’ Gymkhana Website for
those who brought accolades to the institute at National/International level competitions.</p>
<p><b>Aim : </b>There is an intriguing Technological field study in IIT Kharagpur. Many Professors and Research
Scholars have been receiving appreciations across the globe for their Research Works and
Students participating in World competitions or conferences have been receiving prizes from
renowned Organizations. Hence, there is a need for a platform to share the glimpses and
sneak-peeks of their field study and interact with the enthusiasts.</p>
<h3>2. Overnight Case Study and Data Analytics Competition </h3>
<p><b>Overview and Scope : </b>I propose to conduct an “Overnight Case Study and Data Analytics Competition for selection of the Inter IIT Case Study and Data Analytics team. All students willing to find a place in the Inter IIT team to represent the institute in the event of Case Study and Data Analytics are the target audience.”</p>
</p>
<p><b>Benefit : </b>
<ul>
<li>This event shall act as a filter for the Inter IIT Case Study and Data Analytics Team selections. While performing well in this event will be necessary to qualify to the final team representing the institute, it does not guarantee a position in the final team.</li>
</ul>
</p>
<h3>3. Technology GC Web Portal</h3>
<p><b>Overview and Scope : </b>I propose to introduce an “RC Modelling and Fabrication Engineering Winter Workshop”, a new Initiative by General Secretary Technology, Technology Students’ Gymkhana. IIT Kharagpur. This Winter Workshop would inculcate in the students the intricacies of remote controlled automobile design and fabrication. The workshop would focus on a wide range of aspects starting right from concept development to the actual testing of the finished models. Specific stress would also be given on imparting lessons on control and handling of the RC vehicle.</p>
