Wrong hyperlink creation when URL is in brackets within a plain text email #1902

If you place an URL into a plain text email surround it with brackets the closing bracket will be rendered as part of the URL breaking the URL:

As you can see there was also a / added as part of one of the URLs which was not there initially, see the source of the email:
