This page only applies to the official hosted instance, we have no control over other self-hosted instances.

As an open-source bot, we (the bot developers) do not collect information from our users. Currently, the only automatically collected data is your music query (if we're running the bot with the logging level >= debug), and nothing when run with other logging levels. You can easily check the logging level by executing the /about command.

The bot needs to read messages to detect messages with the prefix (e.g. ~play), and no messages of users are logged.

We wish to make the information we collect transparent, and we value the privacy of our users (hence why the code is open source). The official instance is completely the same as the public code, and you can easily self-host if you don't trust us :).
