Cannot subscribe

Hello,

I am able to click follow a channel but going into the Followed Channels directory shows no subscriptions.

Is this a Python issue?
Kodi 19 is apparently only using Python 3.
Is it possible to update this addon? 🙏

I had a go at updating the addon to Python 3 a while back, but the dependencies that the addon uses use Python 2 and I have no idea how to go about upgrading anything. I have no idea how to update Python 2 -> 3 in general, this project is the first and only thing I've ever written in Python, and to be honest it made me hate the language, I'm not going to be writing anything in Python again. I'm happy to accept PRs that fix the addon, but I have no idea how to do it.
