When I was a kid, I was fascinated by erector sets, Legos, Lincoln Logs, model cars, model trains, and anything constructive. I wanted to build things. Well, sometimes life has its own ideas about where we go, and I thought I had lost hold of my dream for good. To make a long story short, in the middle of 2021 I walked away from a 10+ year career in government and management consulting to train as a software engineer. I did it, and not long after I found my first job working in devops, which has given me the opportunity to expand my technical acumen learning from incredibly competent professionals.
