Plugin will be built against 16.8.1, and require this as a minimum Nx peer dependency.

Roadmap tasks left:

  • Update plugin to minimum 16.8.1
  • Add pnpm support for functions
  • Document the new --projectNameAndRootFormat support
  • Document the pnpm support
  • Document the package-lock.json and pnpm-lock.yaml support in 16.8.1
  • Improve the npm readme
  • Update the firebase SDKs
  • Update the firebase function template from SDK template
  • Update the compatibility matrix
  • Check if package.json files in function generator need to have packageManager field set to deploy properly?
