I came across this while looking into making client spec changes per #43 -- the spec makes reference to supportedMetadataFormats for how clients should select their suites, but this doesn't seem to be part of either Rekor or Fulcio's REST APIs (or codebases).

Is this a vestige of an earlier attempt to have clients and servers negotiate compatible suites?
