How to re-scan for rooms? (after moving to a new home)

I moved house, and want to re-configure the robot. i deleted the map from valetudo, and made a scan. I now have new rooms. But in the mqtt vacuum integration, i still have the old rooms when clicking configure for room colors.
How do i make it check for the new rooms?

@borgqueenx good catch.. and fist of all I hope all went okay with the moving. If I'm not wrong the rooms_names will be in the advanced config:

if you click on this option (when the vacuum has already the rooms name setup) the new set of rooms will be load but you need to reload the UI of home assistant from the browser. If this doesn't work please let me know.

This did not help, unfortunately. When clicking configure, the third option still speaks about rooms 1 till 8, and the old names are in there. While my new home has 7 rooms.

@borgqueenx mmm let me check if I broke something on this during some updates.. the names of the rooms as per other data saved are in the config/.storage/valetudo_camera/ folder you can delete all in there and then see while Rename Colous Option and reboot + reload the UI (that sometimes is the problem I faced by testing it and it is HA) solve the issue.

and by the way 1 to 8 is normal but the listed rooms must be 7

I already restarted home assistant and cleared all cache and cookies to be sure, and unfortunately it still shows the same room names of my old home. In valetudo they show correctly (the web page)

Give me some minutes and I will check (I'm remaining the rooms in my vacuum) and if I found a problem (as I wrote by the way the rooms are write down in a file in the folder in the previous comment), if there is a bug I will transfer this to the issues ;)

For me all looks okay.. before I renamed the rooms:

I renamed the rooms with the option I highlight again here + sumit.

then I reload the browser page and nothing changed.

1. reboot home assistant.
2. open the configuration of the camera do not select any option.
3. reload the browser page CTRL + R for crome.
4. open again the configuration of the camera colors:
   

If this do not work for you please let me know what browser do you use?

After this you will need to reconfigure the card.

Indeed there is probably some issue, I noticed (for instance for Rand256) that the camera did got the destinations file but didn't update correctly the rooms attributes.. for instance on the new version I'm working out anyhow the procedure above is the only one that works for renaming the rooms. I will improve it, but I'm also sure that for the time be it will work. Have a good Sunday (probably unboxing :) I changed place recently and it feels like a never ending story to get this place in shape, hopefully for you will be more smoot ;)..
P.s. there is a problem with the card, it sometimes create a duplicate of the rooms when generating those.. I think I found the root cause of this issue I will contact Piotr about this.

thanks for investigating! It seems your method worked. but i had a power outage that completely rebooted the home assistant PC.
The moving goes okay, wired up all 3 routers now instead of working with a mesh, everything is more stable now, which i need with 14 cameras and a lot of devices.

@borgqueenx happy to know that it worked in the end ;) I marked the solution and if you want you can also start the project if you don't mind. This helps us to grow and probably make this an official hacs project.
