To write driver for Clarett, we need a Clarett device.
As far as I remember, Clarett devices are very similar to the Scarlett in case of control.
But, anyway, there can be differences.

@juanpc2018 can you build your own kernel from that source there? Only the Clarett+ 8Pre has been tested (by the author of the patch, @AquaMorph). I'm guessing that the Clarett 8Pre USB is identical except for the USB product ID, so I added a patch which treats them the same. If you can test and confirm that all features work, then we will have support for both 8Pre devices!
