Not able to add more options in Single Select Column

Hi,

I have 3 options already added in a Single Select column. I am trying to add new options. When I add a new option and click on "Update", there is a message that states "changes saved". However I am not able to see the new options in column config or the rows. I am an admin user so permissions shouldn't be an issue. There is no log information also to help on this issue. Need help in resolving this.
