Hi @risgk ,
First of all, thank you for all your work. I've been following this for a long time and it's a great project. What would it take to upgrade this from 8 to 16 Bit? Maybe sacrificing a feature or 2 or porting to a slightly better board? It would push it into a new level and make it a lot more usable sonically and be practically noise free. Just to clarify, what I mean by "noise free" is 8-Bit noise. I use a MIDI shield and external PS and I don't use it connected USB at all. In my opinion, it would be more usable at a higher bit depth than for instance, have built in chorus. Maybe a it can be a seperate stripped down version of the monophonic version. Anyway... just a suggestion and again, thanks for all your hard work!
Cheers :)

Hi @nonsuchpro ,
Thank you for your comment.
I am also interested in Raspberry Pi Pico, but that work would be a different project.
I think VRA8-U type-16 (Special Edition with 16-bit Audio Output) is one of the answers.

If you want, you can try it. I hope there are no bugs :)
