This is already implemented in catdagger:

Not that lsm based de calibration works, so why continue down this particular road? |
Sweet sweet music to my ears!
There are many rhodes, even if they all may lead to Rome (or rum?) @IanHeywood, can you explain your needs here? |
Sure, it's DD-calibration with hybrid LSM + MODEL_DATA sky models. I've also already implemented it for myself, masking out wsclean model images at component positions and re-predicting, but if you implement these features in software I'm already using then it saves me having to cart my own shoddy scripts around with me. I don't think "LSM-based dE calibration doesn't work" is a fair statement, as it has worked beautifully for me on VLA and MeerKAT-16 data. EDIT: typo |
only on fractional subbands - never on the 856 mhz bandwidth. |

…, which now works, and is related to issue #15 from tigger_lsm_pyqt5.
Read in LSM and FITS image, select sources by tag (optionally), and blank pixels within a radius R of each LSM source. As discussed in ratt-ru/owlcat#64.
