HPN-SSH 18.5.0, incorporating OpenSSH 9.8, is now available from the master branch of the git repo and as a release. This version doesn't incorporate any significant changes. The only real user facing change is a minor modification to the version string to make it RFC compliant. Essentially, we needed to change a hyphen to an underscore. Additionally, packages are available for debian and fedora based distributions from the usual sources.
Please note: OpenSSH 9.9 is currently in testing and will likely be available in the next week or so. We hope to follow their release inside of two weeks. So the 18.5.0 release will likely not be current for very long. This may have an impact on your deployment decision so I thought I should mention it.
I also want to thank you for your patience. Getting this release out took a lot longer than we wanted.
Chris
