Bug : Spawn Patrol AI guns not making sounds when shooting
Repeatable: Yea just trigger Patrols spawned and listen when approaching them.
Severity : Intermediate
Importance: i'd say important, but not sure
So ive noticed that sometimes or all the time patrols when spawned in using the example in the init.c when i approach they start firing at me, and i confirm tho logs ( i use my ammo making mod since deformed casing are spawn at the AI feet when they shoot and its logged) but alas no gun sounds come out or from them. tested about 8 times, with 2-3 server restarts.
again probly already know about this issue but figured i;d give a report.

If i May suggest a Temp solution to the issue, maybe make a client side only long gun shot sound play when the AI are spawned in, since i know the AI only spawn in from a distance you set, thinking the default is 800ms anyone would hear when they spawn if you had a gun shot sound play maybe 2-3 times from the spawn point? just an idea but great work. look forward to its future
Just encountered this on my server multiple times as well. However, they seem to have weapon sounds of shots sometimes. Not sure what constellation makes the sound bug out.
I can imagine how awkward this question is, but anyway: is there any news regarding this issue? 😅
