Something alluded to in #28 is a verification process for new registrants/organizations. Perhaps if we allow open registration, we at least have a "verified" process that adds a verified badge next to things uploaded by manually-verified orgs.
Authorship date and reported-publication date are not legally significant (though links to a public database record like a DOI can be, a future feature). This Archive generates a new [prior art publication date] on upload.
@metasj we should discuss -- in our conversation with Philip the original publication date sounded like a very important feature for patent officers who are trying to filter results.
At the meeting, we discussed there should be a Disclaimer to cover legal liability against fraud. Do we currently have a Disclaimer where new user need to accept upon sign-up?
