How to link a existing VS2022 project?

So I'm creating a Project which has a core (static lib) project and then a platform group with a linux (executable) and windows (executable) projects . I wan't the Windows to be a Winforms project and the Linux to be a Linux specific project. But how can i refer to a platform specific project if the user is on that platform? (I wan't to add it to the workspace)

EDIT: I'm using C++ for the core and C++/CLI for the windows project.

If you want to add a VS project to the project, then what you're looking for is externalproject.
