Bluetooth headset/headphones pairs and connects but doesn't become available as a sound output or input device #3447

Hello,

I use the Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS with the most recent updates .
I successfully connect and pair my BT headphones:

However they don't become available neither as output nor as input device: the respective dropdowns don't have the headphones in the list:

Same in pavucontrol:

Can you please tell what can be the problem?
