Retrovol freezes if the panel is changed to lxpanelx

• Start retrovol while running some other panel e.g. lxpanel.
• Kill the panel and start lxpanelx (https://code.google.com/p/lxpanelx). There is a blank space instead of the retrovol tray icon. Retrovol is stuck using 100% of one cpu.

I realise this is probably due to a bug in lxpanelx, and lxpanelx is dead, but I'm reporting it just in case...
