...stumbled upon this while trying to build tracebox under Alpine (it uses musl instead of glibc): error: ns_name_compress was not declared in this scope; did you mean ns_name_uncompress?
Digging online i saw the following similar Gentoo bug report as well.
A quick'n'dirty workaround that i came up with was to replace such with dn_comp instead.
But i'm not really sure of it's validity / portability across different distributions...
would be nice though if such could get a proper fix at some point down the road.
