This is a bug in the Debian package: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1036857 You could probably just delete the AppArmor profile and then restart AppArmor. |

However, if I am changing the PID directory for example "/home/tomato/anope.pid", it just fails with a 255/exception error code. |

PROBLEM WAS SOLVED! I checked anope logs and understood that I had to import "hidechans" module first.
