Hello everyone!
We wanted to share to everyone news about an R package we have been developing as an Oxford IHTM CodeHub project.
Introducing the
oxthema
package which is currently in pre-release (alpha release version). You can read more about the package, what it's for, how to install it, and how to use it from the package website - https://oxford-ihtm.io/oxthema/.
To read more about the current stage of package development, the development and testing status of the project, and the roadmap for features development, visit the package GitHub repository at https://github.com/OxfordIHTM/oxthema.
We would appreciate your support and contribution to this project through any of the following efforts:
ggplot2
. You can try out the utility of the differentggplot2
themes available from the package, see if you like them, and that they are working as described. Any feedback (whether it be style, syntax, documentation, or approach) is welcome. For points 1 and 2 above, you can make your feedback known either by commenting on this discussion thread or by raising and issue on the project issues page. Try to be as clear and specific as possible with your feedback. An example of what you mean (if you are suggesting a feature) or a description of what you have done when an error or a warning came up will help so much in us being able to understand your suggestion/feedback/comment.
For point 3, we would still appreciate it for you to raise the issue or the feedback here in this thread and/or as an issue on the GitHub issues page so that we can discuss your ideas. This doesn't preclude you from already forking the repository, making changes, and issuing a pull request.
If you use
oxthema
and create plots and outputs using the package, do share with us your outputs by posting it here or by sharing it through your socials (LinkedIn, Twitter, Mastodon) and tagging the Oxford IHTM handle in your post.Do take note that this project (and all other projects under the Oxford IHTM CodeHub) is governed by a Contributor Code of Conduct. We expect contributors to be aware of this code and to behave accordingly.
We look forward to your contributions!
