Try making reference into construction/ The image does not pull as if adjacent, so see about in the folder
Try reference to nearby image The assset is in the same folder, and I want to know how the association is preserved when the page is served.
Edit in the wiki view to ensure that location construction/cloning is sustained.
Update to reflect what I have learned so far There is considerable mystery-meat in the wiki as a repository of markdown pages and the wiki as viewed.
Try "cloning" up-level The wiki recognizes cloning on the sidebar, and that presents a URL at the same level as the Home page. I am unclear how to create an explicit cross-reference then.
Try escaping There is a problem with "/" in the URL to a local page. Trying //
Clean up and move scaffolding effort to subfolder We move all the work into the construction folder and simplify the Home page (fingers crossed)
Try linking into a sub-folder I put a copy of the top-level construction entry there. Just a test.

Update with push experience I seem to be stuck with command-line pushes, since the GitHub client simply doesn't recognize the origin. and associate with my account. Now seeing if I can work subfolders naturally.
Document Cloning Experience I can commit using the GitHub client, but I can't push that way. But command-line pushes work after authenticating myself. I don't know if that will always be required.
Show miser.wiki cloning I used the command-line example (the only one provided) to clone the Miser Project Wiki to my computer. It worked fine. I stored the screen capture in a construction/ assets folder.
Added concerns over inability to clone the wki as expected.
