Cross Tenancy Instance Principal

I have used this plugin to send logs to OCI LA cross-tenancy using user config, but when I try the same using the Instance Principal and configuring the right admit endorse policies, it's not able to upload logs to the Log Group in a separate tenancy. The OCI CLI works fine to send cross-tenancy requests in the same Kubernetes cluster and I can list log groups in a separate tenancy using OCI CLI commands.
