My small contribution to the community.. 😄
A weekend project, which took a long time because I haven't done anything on Android in years. 😅

I wasted a lot of time trying to zoom in on videos, and I resigned myself. It also can't take snapshots, etc., etc., but it's the absolute minimum I need. I just want to have a small app to view my cameras from different manufacturers.

I wanted to try but if I enter local ip 192.xx.xx.xx:8080 nothing happens. What ip address should I use?

I've never tried with a custom port until now.. 😅
I'll investigate it now.... 😉

@matiasdelellis It might be interesting concept to be able to add multiple lightNVR instances to your app and kind of aggregate the data together -- just a thought.

Maybe.. It's still just a prototype to test its viability... but it seems like it could work. 😄

Yes.. It could be, mainly when rotating the screen or playing a recording (and as it takes a while, you try to play it again). 🙈

Be patient.. It's a new project (LightNVR himself as well), in its infancy.. and I didn't even worry about showing error dialogs. That's why you didn't notice it didn't support port usage yet and was failing..

To make matters worse, I am not an Android developer.. haha. 😅

Well, as I said, I'm still testing. I've noticed the crashes, but in the little time I spend on it, I try other things. For example, I wasted several days trying to get hold of the snapshots[1], which seemed much more interesting to me than fixing a problem.

1. It's probably still failing for some people because I don't manage permissions well.
