After the rule has been replaced the Pre-commit script was successful.
Replace
/* eslint-disable @typescript-eslint/no-var-requires */with
/* eslint-disable @typescript-eslint/no-require-imports */Other Open Pioneer repos are also effected: no-var-requires.
