The Problem

Open Horizon community members need a standard set of hardware to use to demonstrate common deployment use cases. By providing a hardware Bill of Materials, we hope to use that to provide a corresponding set of utilities and configurations to easily provision and install demos for these use cases. They can be used for customer demos, trade shows and conferences, meet ups and training events.

The Solution

The solution to this is essentially a portable demo in a box which will consist of at least one x86 machine and at least two arm devices. With these, we hope to demonstrate how everything can be operated locally, even without reliable internet connectivity.
