How the Percent Daily Value is Computed

The formula used is:

Attribute Value / (Daily Value * Calorie Intake / 2000)

Notes:

  • Attribute Value => this is the value of nutrition like Cholesterol or Sodium

  • If the FDA Rounding setting is set to be true then Attribute Value will be rounded first using the FDA Rule for this attribute (see FDA Rounding Feature Basis). If it is set to false then the formula will simply use the Attribute Value

  • Calorie Intake has a default value of 2000 but it can be changed using the plugin option calorieIntake
