Not reading variables properly from CyberPower connected to Synology NAS via USB

I have a Synology DS923+ running Network UPS Server, with a CyberPower CP1300EPFCLCD connected to the NAS via USB
WinNUT-Client connects to the server but the GUI is not showing correct information.

The log files show [xxx variable] is not supported by server:

Hi @joelrankin ,

Is the variables list acquired from within WinNUT as well? Synology's NUT server pops up on here frequently, and I've seen issues like this before. It will state the the variable is unavailable, but showing that list is new for me. Could you try restarting either the upsd daemon on the Synology box, or restart the whole system and see if variables are reported any differently?

Hi @gbakeman thanks for the very quick reply.
After reading a few more forum posts and articles over the Internet, I managed to find the problem (which was use error).
After reading this article, I tried changing the"UPS Name" parameter in WinNUT-Client to "ups" and the UPS variables are now being read.

I've honestly just been juggling a lot of different things I'd like to do with larger structural upgrades to WinNUT, it's hard to delegate work at this point! 😅 But please stay in touch and comment on anything that strikes your interest. I'm not sure if you're multilingual or have some experience in .NET Framework/VB.Net and C# - a second brain and pair of eyes is always appreciated. I try to keep this project open, suggestions and input are always welcome.

I completely understand the predicament of wanting to delegate / share the load but having all the ideas in your head (and sometimes it talking less time to just do it yourself than get other to do it).
I have a fair bit of experience in.Net (mainly c# but have a lot of experience in old school VB as well), and designing UI.
Unfortunately I only know English, but have access to some tech friends who are bilingual.
Feel free to reach out if you ever want to bounce around any ideas.
Keep up the great work and don't work too hard.
