Just a quick reminder about this potential improvement for bar charts:

minBarWidth=3;
maxBarWidth=13;
barWidth = minBarWidth + ( (maxBarWidth-minBarWidth) / 100 ) * // width of each tick out of 100 ticks
  ((d-c.min) / (c.max-c.min)); // Number of ticks out of 100 ticks
