Wired Server.app
installs its data files (user accounts, boards, configuration, etc.) in the ~/Library/Wired
directory.
Critical configuration files are listed below:
~/Library/Wired/banner.png
~/Library/Wired/database.sqlite3
~/Library/Wired/database.sqlite3.bak
~/Library/Wired/etc/wired.conf
-
~/Library/Wired/wired.log
(optional)
You are free to use any backup solution of your choice in order to make these files secure and restorable.
Wired Server.app
also provides a graphical way of exporting/importing settings in Menu > File > Import/Export Settings
. WARNING: The Import Setting
feature is fixed only since Wired Server 2.5-19. Export settings
in older version than 2.5-19 should work, even if it crash the app or became non-responsive, the saved file may be imported in version equals or superior to 2.5-19.
NOTE: For absolute safety, prefer doing your backups with the server off when possible.
