264.112 Digital Production - Institute of Art and Design, Research Unit of Three-dimensional Design and Model-Making (Kunst 2), TU Vienna.
The course involves practical experience in model making with robotically assisted tools. Participants will understand the impact of digital technologies on the design process, parametric modelling, simulation, and fabrication with a collaborative robotic arm. The teaching includes foundations of architectural geometry in Rhinoceros/Grasshopper, basic concepts of Python programming, and practical experience with robotic control via compas_fab, compas_rrc and ABB Robot Studio.
