I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out how to contribute to Hemolog. Can anyone help? 😄 |

Great question! Hemolog has been "in the news" lately on a podcast called Design Details. This week we talk about the challenge of having work that is locked behind an NDA, or never shipped, and what to do about it in a job interview. - Design Details I submitted one of the suggestions for the show and they talked about it for a bit. Basically, we all need projects to contribute to from time to time. Hemolog has been that for me for a while and I want to open it up an invitation to anyone who thinks they can contribute to do so. I'll be coming up with product specs (which will post here) for new features and for potential redesigns or refactors. I'd also be happy for folks to come up with their own ideas for improving Hemolog once they give it a spin. I'm fully aware that hemophilia is a rare bleeding disorder and most people wanting to contribute don't necessarily have a connection, but you should feel free to sign up for the app and play around anyway. Soon (future feature hint hint) you'll be able to delete your data anyway or I can do it manually for now. My goal is for people who need a production product with real users to be able to contribute to something that they can then show off either in an interview or just to improve their portfolio. If that sounds like you, feel free to reach out here or on twitter (@michaelwschultz). |
